Triumph Motorcycles India has announced that it will extend warranty till July 30, 2021 for motorcycle whose manufacturer or extended warranty expired(s) between April 15 to May 31, 2021, on account of COVID-19 pandemic. Other two-wheeler manufacturers like Piaggio, Benelli, Suzuki, KTM, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, HMSI, TVS and Yamaha had earlier announced the extension of warranty and scheduled/free services due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Triumph says the warranty won't be affected if the owners get their motorcycle serviced within 30 days of lockdown being lifted.

Apart from announcing an extension on warranty, Triumph Motorcycles India also recently launched the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber. The Bonnie Bobber was always a good-looking motorcycle and for 2021, the model gets a new LED daytime running light, new black engine covers, cam and sprocket covers and a new bezel around the classic old-school single-pod instrument console. Prices for the motorcycle start at Rs. 11.75 lakh, a significant jump from its price of Rs. 10.28 lakh for the BS4 model. The motorcycle continues to get a 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine which is now BS6 compliant and makes 79.6 bhp at 6,100 rpm along with peak torque output of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

Triumph Global also teased the updated model of the Speed Twin, and also announced the global launch details of the new motorcycle. The 2021 Speed Twin will be unveiled globally on June 1, 2021 and we can expect the motorcycle to be launched in India as well. According to Triumph's teaser, the new Speed Twin should be an updated machine in all aspects, what Triumph describes as 'evolved in every dimension, with higher performance, better handling, higher specification and even more premium style and detailing.'
