If you are a fan of Triumph Motorcycles and James Bond, this might be of interest. EON Productions - makers of the James Bond flick 'No Time To Die' plan to auction the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE that featured in the movie to raise money for charity. The 25th film in the spy series saw some high octane stunts with some very special cars and motorcycles. Triumph Motorcycles as well as Land Rover were official partners on the project with their respective vehicles. The auction will take place live online on September 28, 2022 with all the proceeds going to the UK-based charity Severn Hospice.

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE was a part of the pre-credit opening sequence in the film
In the movie, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 was ridden by assassin Primo (Dali Benssalah), before Agent 007 (Daniel Craig) took the saddle in the opening sequence. The Scrambler was part of a high-octane chase scene that was shot in the old city of Matera in Italy, and managed plenty of stunts and screen time.
It is noteworthy to know that the Scrambler 1200 XE up for auction is a "non-runner," which means it was specifically modified for the sequence. Compared to the stock Scrambler, the filmed version saw special modifications especially for the wall jump stunt. Stunt coordinator Lee Morrison worked with the Triumph team to create the motorcycle while former four-time enduro world champion Paul Edmondson pulled off the stunt.
The Aston Martin DB5 stunt car, Aston Martin V8 and Land Rover Defender are also up for auction
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE up for auction is estimated to fetch about 20,000-30,000 Pounds (about Rs. 18-27 lakh), which is far less than some of the other cars that are up for auction from the Bond film. The auction website also lists the Aston Martin DB5 stunt car built the manufacturer specially for the film and is expected to fetch about 1.5-2 million Pounds (about Rs. 14-18 crore). The Aston Martin V8 is also on the list with an estimate of 500,000-700,000 Pounds (about Rs. 4.61-6.46 crore), while the Land Rover Defender 110 is expected to fetch about 300,000-500,000 (about Rs. 2.7-4.6 crore).
