Homegrown electric two-wheeler maker Twenty Two Motors has launched the Flow electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2018. The new Twenty Two Flow is priced at Rs. 74,740 (ex-showroom), and pre-bookings for the model have commenced. The Flow is the bike maker's first offering and boasts of a host of features including artificial intelligence, electric braking, digital console and a lot more. The manufacturer will be introducing the e-scooter in a phased manner in the country with the first dealership coming up in Delhi-NCR, followed by the rest of the country.
The Twenty Two Flow uses a DC motor that is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which can be charged within a span of five hours. The battery offers a range of 80 km on a single charge with a speed of 60 kmph, and the company offering an additional battery that doubles the range. The electric scooter makes 90 Nm of peak torque, and gets a host of practical bits like an all-digital console and the provision to store up to two helmets. With fibre body, the scooter is light on its feet with a kerb weight of 85 kg.

The Flow electric scooter also comes with Artificial Intellgence (AI) for better connectivity. The user can track the vehicle remotely while the Geo-Fencing feature allows for security against theft. The Flow also comes with dual disc brakes, alloy wheels, electric braking system (EBS), LED headlamps, and also the option of a wireless charging for the battery. The company claims a warranty of 50,000 km on the Twenty Two Flow.
Other features include reverse mode, cruise control, drag mode that lets you use the bike at crawling speeds in case of a puncture, and SOS function as well. Twenty Two Motors will be producing the Flow e-scooter at its facility in Bhiwadi, Haryana, while the launch will happen by mid-2018. The company has a target to sell 2 lakh units of the Flow in three years of its launch.
