The Ola Electric S1 Z is a compact and versatile electric scooter designed to cater to the needs of students, young professionals, and delivery partners. Launched in November 2024, it offers an affordable and eco-friendly alternative for urban commuting.

Design and Features: The S1 Z features a sleek and modern design with a horizontally stacked headlamp and a minimalistic side profile. It comes equipped with an LCD screen and a physical key for user convenience. The scooter's ergonomic seat, well-cushioned suspension, and spacious footboard ensure comfort for both rider and pillion during daily commutes. Its lightweight frame and intuitive handling make it easy to maneuver in city traffic. Additionally, the scooter’s near-silent operation and vibration-free ride enhance overall comfort and reduce fatigue.

Battery and Performance: The S1 Z is powered by dual removable batteries, each with a capacity of 1.5 kWh, providing a combined range of up to 146 km. The scooter is equipped with a 2.9 kW hub motor, enabling a top speed of 70 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in approximately 4.7 seconds. The batteries can be charged in about 5 hours.

Pricing and Variants: The S1 Z is available in two variants:

• S1 Z: Priced at ?59,999 (ex-showroom).
• S1 Z+: Priced at ?64,999 (ex-showroom).

The S1 Z is aimed at students and young professionals, while the S1 Z+ is primarily for e-commerce and delivery partners.

Additional Features: Both variants feature Ola’s new removable battery pack, which can also function as an inverter for households, providing power for essential appliances during outages. The S1 Z series is designed to meet the demands of urban mobility, offering a balance of performance, range, and affordability.
