Then there was also the $1.3 billion for sales in the United States.
The second highest bid after that for the 1962 250 GTO was for the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale; it went under the hammer for $26.4 million. This was followed by the 1954 Ferrari 375-Plus Spider Competizione, which was sold for $18.4 million.
