Hyundai lifted the veil of a more rugged version of the ix20 subcompact hatchback called the ix20 Cross. Let us make it very clear from the very beginning that this car will only be offered by Hyundai's Belgium arm and for the time being atleast the car will not be launched anywhere else.
Riding on a modified Soul platform, the ix20 Cross gets a new front fascia with a revamped grille. Plastic trim on the rocker panels and the wheel arches add a touch of ruggedness and it is similar to what we've seen on the Cross Polo or even the Etios Cross.
Hyundai would not bring this car to India because they already have a plan in place but we are sure that a 'Cross' version is not a part of it yet.
