June 21 is a special day, like that anniversary, birthday that many of us look forward to celebrating. But for some of us, June 21 is made special because it's celebrated globally as World Motorcycle Day, a day for celebrating everything about motorcycles, motorcycling and our favourite motorcycles, from now and from the years gone by. June 21 is also the longest day, the Summer Solstice. For the lucky few who can afford to head out for a ride on June 21, be safe, stay safe and enjoy your ride!
For many others though, this year, it may not be possible to just head out for a ride in parts of the world, due to COVID-19 restrictions. But we can always reminisce and look back at some motorcycles which we really enjoyed riding, reviewing and filming. Yes, we can't wait to get back on motorcycles, and hopefully soon, it will be safe enough to start doing what we love the most, having some motorcycle time! For now, here are some videos of some bike we've filmed over the past year or so. These aren't necessarily the 'best' bikes in their respective segments, but bikes which we enjoyed riding and reviewing. After all, motorcycling is all about love, isn't it?
The Honda Hornet 2.0 replaces the Honda CB Hornet 160R with a slightly bigger engine. But it's more than just a bump in displacement as we found out. The new Hornet 2.0 is an enjoyable small motorcycle, especially on a twisty road, and that's why it makes it to this list, because we had fun making this video!

Some good things come in small packages! Yes, this one may be just a 250, but it looks good, has a lot of presence, and is a whole lot of fun, without being unapproachable. The KTM 250 Adventure may be just an entry-level ADV, for the newbie adventure rider, but it sure is fun, even with its limitations. We had a ball reviewing it!

The 2021 Jawa Forty-Two is an updated model, with only a few, but noteworthy changes. And on one of our first outstation shoots since the COVID-19 pandemic changed the world, it felt great to hustle the new Jawa Forty-Two around some twisty roads!

The first all-new Royal Enfield in a long time, and the Meteor 350 is built around an all-new 350 cc platform, with a new double-cradle chassis. We reminisced about the Royal Enfield motorcycles that we have experienced over the years, and talked about the earlier engines and the brand-new 350 cc single to see what it offers. Yes, it was a hot day, but we had fun talking about bikes and filming this one!
The Royal Enfield Himalayan gets some minor updates in 2021, including new colours. We swung a leg over the new Himalayan, and were in for a surprise! We had a blast riding it around town, on the highway, and most of all, throwing it around some dirt trails!

The Triumph Trident 660 is the most-affordable Triumph roadster available on sale right now. It's a simple bike, and built to a price. But as we found out after a day's ride hustling it in the Himalayan foothills, the Trident 660 is almost near the perfect motorcycle that you could be asking for, if street riding and the occasional twisty mountain road is what you crave for!

The Ducati Panigale V2 may be the smaller, and less-powerful sibling of the venerable Ducati Panigale V4. Yes, for all practical purposes, it's the "entry-level" Panigale on sale right now, but as we found out, on the road, and on the racetrack, there's nothing "entry-level" about its performance!
