The diesel engine, a 1.5-liter Kryojet, produces 116 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. The petrol engines are responsive, especially the Hyperion unit, which offers a torque boost feature for better overtaking capabilities. The diesel engine is a bit noisier but provides ample torque for highway cruising. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available, with the automatic featuring a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCA), making it a versatile performer for both city and highway driving.

The Tata Curvv offers a smooth and composed ride, with a suspension system that absorbs bumps effectively. The vehicle feels planted on the road, thanks to its wide footprint and slightly firmer suspension setup, which improves handling over its smaller sibling, the Nexon. Body roll is minimal, and the ride quality is plush, making it comfortable for both drivers and passengers. The steering is well-weighted, providing good feedback at higher speeds, though it might feel a bit heavy during low-speed maneuvers, such as parking.

Inside, the Curvv offers a spacious and premium cabin. The seats are well-cushioned, offering excellent support for long journeys. The rear seats provide adequate legroom and headroom for average-sized adults, though taller passengers may find it a bit snug. The interior features a dark theme with premium materials, and the dashboard includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
