The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is up for a mid-cycle update and with it, will get numerous upgrades, both to its externals and internals. Additionally, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will also receive a major change in heart as the company will introduce a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder K15C dual-jet petrol engine paired to a new 6-speed automatic gearbox, added to the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga as well recently. To keep things fresh in the segment, Maruti Suzuki will also add new creature comforts to the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6, enhancing its premium quotient even further.
Expect a slight tweak to the design of the headlamps on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6.

The exterior changes on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 are limited but noteworthy, and so receive a revised grille, as well as a revised front bumper, along with a slight tweak to the design of the headlamps. The profile remains largely unchanged albeit the alloy wheels could sport a fresh design. The rear section of the car receives minor nip & tuck too, so expect the rear bumper, and tail lamps to feature a revised design.
Ventilated seats are a first for Maruti Suzuki.
The interior of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 features prominent updates. Among these, are ventilated seats and paddle shifters, although the latter was introduced with the 2022 Baleno. Another major upgrade is the introduction of Maruti's new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, first seen on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. A few of the connected car tech will also follow suit on the 2022 XL6, apart from a 360-degree parking camera system, Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, and wireless charging will also be included with the refresh. Apart from this, the XL6 retains many of the features of the outgoing model.

As mentioned already, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will employ Maruti's new 1.5-litre Dual Jet petrol engine equipped with the company's smart hybrid motor. Maruti is yet to disclose the numbers on the 2022 XL6 but we expect the power to receive a slight bump while the torque output will remain unchanged. Along with a new engine, the refreshed XL6 will also receive a new 6-speed torque converter, replacing the outdated 4-speed torque converter from the outgoing model. There will also be a 5-speed manual gearbox on offer.

Maruti Suzuki is known for its competitive pricing and will do the same with the 2022 XL6. Considering the 2022 Ertiga is priced between Rs. 8.35 lakh to Rs. 12.79 lakh, expect the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 to be slightly premium, possibly between Rs. 10.35 lakh to Rs. 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, according to our dealer sources, expect a bump over the outgoing model by about Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000, over each variant.
