Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has commenced the rollout and dispatches of the new CB300F from its plant in Vithalapur, Gujarat. The CB300F is the company’s latest mid-capacity motorcycle to be offered from its BigWing dealerships and was officially launched in the country earlier this month. Priced from Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom), the CB300F is an all-new motorcycle for India with the company saying the model is not related to the CB300R.
The roll-out of the model was attended by Atsushi Ogata - Managing Director, President & CEO (HMSI), Takahiro Honda - Chief Production Officer & Director (HMSI), Naveen Awal - Director, Production (HMSI), Manish Dua – Operating Officer (Vithalapur Plant) and Akira Toyama, Executive Vice-President (Vithalapur Plant).

The CB300F streetfighter is the only motorcycle to currently roll out from the Vithalapur plant. The facility commenced operations in 2014-15 and rolls out the company’s range of scooters for the domestic market. Models manufactured at the facility include the Activa, Dio and Grazia.

The CB300F will be manufactured on a separate dedicated production line with the model being manufactured fro the domestic and export markets.
The plant is also a hub for manufacturing engines for global markets ranging from 250cc and up. The engines are exported to markets like Thailand, US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia and more.
