Nissan India has launched a special edition of the Terrano called the Terrano Sport at a price of Rs. 12.22 lakh. The Terrano Sport special edition gets a bunch of updates to the exterior in order to give the SUV a premium look and feel. The SUV gets a dual-tone colour scheme with a white body and the roof and pillars wrapped in black. The cladding on the wheel arches is new as well. Other touches include red stripes on the hood, fenders and the rear door sill. The other highlights are the crimson-stitched seat covers along with crimson highlights to the floor mats.

The other feature that the Terrano Sport gets is the NissanConnect which is an integrated information and communications platform which can connect to the driver's smartphone. The system has more than 50 features such as geo-fencing, speed alert, nearby pit stops, locate my car, share my car location and so on and so forth. Nissan will provide 3 years of free NissanConnect services to the customers with the purchase of the Terrano Sport.
Some of the features that the Terrano Sport takes from the standard Terrano are the dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, elctronic brake force distribution, brake assist, daytime running lights and steering mounted controls as well. The price of the Terrano Sport is the same as the XL (O) trim and the XV D trim.
The Nissan Terrano Sport Edition will be made in limited numbers and it will be available only on the 1.5-litre diesel which makes 83.8 bhp.
