OSM in association with battery tech start-up Log9 Materials, has introduced what the company says are India's fastest charging electric three-wheeler, the Rage+ Rapid EV. The company has commenced pre-bookings for the electric commercial vehicle for an amount of Rs. 10,000. The Rage+ Rapid EV has been launched in two variants, with discounted prices for the first 1,000 customers. The Rage+ Rapid Open Carrier Half Tray is being offered at a discounted price of Rs. 3.59 lakh (Ex-showroom), while the Rage+ Rapid EV with top body container is being offered with a discounted price of Rs. 3.99 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Omega Seiki Mobility and Log9 Materials have jointly developed the Rage+ Rapid EV, and according to the two companies, the fast-charging electric three-wheeler has been developed keeping in mind the requirements of Indian consumers. Both brands are offering the Rage+ Rapid electric three-wheeler with an attractive discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh, according to an official statement.

Both variants of the Rage+ Rapid electric three-wheeler consist of RapidX 6000 fast-charging batteries based on the InstaCharge technology developed by Log9 Materials. These electric three-wheelers are said to be able to be fully charged in just 35 minutes, making them the fastest-charging three-wheelers available in India right now. The Rage+ Rapid EVs also come with Rs. 1 lakh buy-back guarantee within 5 years, and also come with a 5-year vehicle warranty and 6-year battery warranty.
