Lately we have seen newer Skoda cars like the I.D. 5 and I.D.6 wearing interesting camouflages in their testing phase and the company is trying the same in India. So the test mules of the upcoming Skoda Slavia will no more be seen in boring black and white camouflages in India, but in a mixture of Indian motifs. The theme includes Peacock and Lotus, Czech glass art, and Cubism, while the colours used in the design are warm and represent the Indian culture. And Skoda actually organised a 'Camouflage with Skoda' contest where younger folks were given the opportunity to design the new camouflage. This very theme was designed by Shreyas Karambelkar from Badlapur, Maharashtra who happens to be the winner while Ben Stewart from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu has been chosen as the runner - up.

Ben Stewart from Tirunelveli is the runner up.
Shreyas will travel to Prague to meet the Head of Design, Skoda Auto - Oliver Stefani, at the Skoda headquarters. And obviously, the winning design will be applied on the testing prototype of the upcoming Skoda Slavia midsize premium sedan, under the India 2.0 project. Ben Stewart from Tirunelveli wins a design tablet while the other three finalists will be awarded Skoda gift bags. This unique design contest was announced in August wherein the participants were asked to submit a design of a camouflage for the upcoming Skoda Slavia. More than 200 entries were received from across India for the contest and before announcing the winner, the top five shortlisted designs were passed through the production, durability, and applicability processes.
