SUN Mobility announced a partnership with Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer Terra Motors Corporation to integrate the latter's electric three-wheeler passenger vehicles and two-wheeler platforms with swappable batteries-based technology. The alliance will soon deploy these electric vehicles in India. These EVs will benefit from SUN Mobility's swap points, a few of which will be placed at select Terra Motors dealerships. Terra Motors develops mobility platforms across Japan, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, and is based in Japan and India.

SUN's network of swap points allows for a quick charge, that is faster, cheaper, and convenient for the customers. The Bengaluru-based EV battery solution maker also offers pay-per-use model to pay for only the energy used per swap. The organization is working with fleet operators, shared mobility providers, cities and automotive OEMs across all platforms including two/three wheelers and buses to offer economical, scalable, and smarter solutions for electric vehicles.
