ISIL, helped advance the cause of Al Qaeda and ISIS online, and also gave money to an Al Qaeda member despite the knowledge that it would be used to back terrorist activities. Furthermore, the court heard that the accused accessed terrorists' websites along with other restricted sites to learn how to make bombs.
