The newly-launched Yamaha FZ-X has surely grabbed everyone's attention with its neo-retro styling. Priced at ₹ 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom), it is the most affordable retro-themed motorcycle on sale in India, and shares its underpinnings with the familiar Yamaha FZ 150 series. Just days after the launch, Yamaha Motor India has listed all the official accessories that will be available with the FZ-X and include things for aesthetic upgrades as well as enhanced convenience.

The Yamaha FZ-X accessories range starts from ₹ 300 for the seat cover that comes with contrast stitching, extra cushioning and different colour options. There's also tanks pads available for ₹ 400 that further adds to the retro look but are functional and protect the fuel tank from unwarranted scratches while riding from the jacket or belt.

Adding to the retro theme are the optional chrome rearview mirrors worth ₹ 800, while customers can also purchase LED flashers at a price of ₹ 1490 for a set of two. Moving on, the rear footrest can be added to the bike for ₹ 400, while the engine guard will set you back by ₹ 800. Lastly, Yamaha will sell you a bike cover worth ₹ 400 for the FZ-X. All the accessories will be available at authorised Yamaha dealerships pan India and customers can purchase from the same.

With respect to power, the new FZ-X uses the 149 cc FI Blue core engine that develops about 12.4 bhp and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a negative LCD console, projector lens headlamps with DRL, LED taillight, and a Yamaha Connect app that brings a host of telematics data including riding statistics. The new FZ-X competes against the Hero Xtreme 160, Suzuki Gixxer 155, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in the segment.
