Tata Motors today officially launched a new XM(S) variant of its popular Nexon subcompact SUV in India. The newly launched XM(S) variant comes with an electric sunroof which gets a starting price of Rs. 8.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the most affordable car to get the feature across the segment. The carmaker is offering the XM(S) variant in both petrol and diesel variants with two transmission options - manual and AMT. The XMA(S) AMT variant with diesel engine is priced at Rs. 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Bentley Motors has successfully manufactured the 40,000th unit of its popular luxury sports sedan, Bentley Flying Spur from its Crewe plant. Currently, in its third generation, the sedan was originally christened as the Continental Flying Spur, and later it was renamed as Flying Spur to distinguish the car from the Continental GT. Notably, all three generations of the Flying Spur have been designed, engineered, developed and manufactured at Bentley's home in Crewe. Each one of the 40,000 cars manufactured has spent more than 100 hours on the production line where a 250-strong team assemble each Flying Spur by hand.

State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Sunday revised the petrol prices across all the metro cities, while the diesel prices were left untouched. The oil companies hiked petrol rates by 14 paise in the national capital, which now retails at Rs. 81.49 per litre. In Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, the petrol prices were hiked by 12-14 paise per litre as per the notifications from Indian Oil Corporation. In the capital city, the petrol price was hiked from Rs. 81.35 to Rs. 81.49 per litre, while the diesel is retailing at Rs. 73.56 per litre.
