Honda Grazia

How does the Honda Grazia fare in the scooter segment? How does it match up to its rivals? Here’s taking a closer look.

How is the design?

The Honda Grazia is a scooter that immediately draws your attention with its sporty style and its many amenities that are up to date technologically. The length of the autonomous scooter is 1 812 millimetres, and it has a width of 697 millimetres. The kerb weight is a manageable 107 kilograms, and the ground clearance is 155 millimetres. The capacity of the fuel tank is approximately 5.3 liters of gasoline. The Honda Grazia features redesigned aesthetics that give the scooter a more alluring and alluring appearance than before. The body lines have been given a more angular appearance, and the handlebar cowl has been modified to include split LED daytime running lights. LED DC bulbs have been incorporated into the headlamp unit to make it more intelligent. This scooter's front apron and side body panels both have a new and improved appearance as a result of recent redesigns. The rear part as well as the tail lights has also been updated, and the sportiness of the Honda Grazia has been increased thanks to the split grab rails. It comes in the following colors: yellow, gray, blue, and red. Pearl Nightstar Black and Sports Red are the two stylish colour options that are available for the Sports Edition that Honda provides for its customers. A two-tone finish is applied to it, and there are some black plastic inputs located up front.

In addition to it, it has black inputs on the side, and there is a decal that says "Honda" on the underside of the scooter. It comes with a sporty split side rail at the back that sits above the tail lights. The Grazia comes equipped with some nifty features, like as a semi-digital instrument dashboard, which contribute to the new scooter's overall upscale appearance. Additionally beneficial is the front glove box, which has adequate space for a cell phone to be stored inside of it. The scooter was manufactured by Honda, and it has a sporty appearance.

How is the performance?

The Honda Grazia is now BS-VI compliant and receives a high-performing 124 cc air-cooled and four-stroke engine that is also equipped with programmed fuel injection and HET (Honda Eco Technology) in tandem with eSP (enhanced smart power) along with ACG (alternate current generator) for a silent and smooth start. At 6000 revolutions per minute, this engine generates 8.14 brake horse power, and it also generates 10.3 Newton meters of peak torque at 5000 revolutions per minute. The engine is coupled to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) system and updated with newer components to improve fuel economy and reduce friction.

It utilizes the same single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is used in the Activa 125. This engine produces 125cc of power. Drum brakes are standard, but if you upgrade to the Deluxe model, you'll get a front disc brake instead. The standard version of this product has drum brakes. The front suspension of the scooter is telescopic, and the rear suspension is of the spring-loaded hydraulic kind. Both suspension types come standard on the scooter. The new Honda Grazia rolls on a 10-inch wheel at the back that is shod to a 90/100 tire, in contrast to the majority of other scooters, which are equipped with a 12-inch front wheel that is shod to a 90/90 tire. In addition, the front wheel of the new Honda Grazia features a 90/90 tire. The distance between its wheels measures 1260 millimetres.

How does the scooter ride?

The Honda Grazia is a smooth, comfortable ride. It's easy to handle and feels very stable on the road. The suspension is firm but not too harsh, and the scooter handles well even on rough roads. The seats are comfortable and the riding position is upright, making it easy to see around you. The scooter is quite nimble, making it easy to get around traffic.

The front suspension of the Honda Grazia is comprised of telescopic forks, which may extend travel to a maximum of 80 millimetres, while a single shock absorber is located in the back. The suspension system is good, and it is able to easily handle poor and difficult roads flawlessly while also providing a plusher ride quality alongside it. The ride does not have any bouncing parts, which is a huge advantage, to put it mildly. The Grazia has telescopic forks up front and a spring-loaded hydraulic shock in the rear. The Grazia is constructed on an underbone chassis, and its suspension is handled by these two components. The front tire on the scooter has a section size of 90/90-12, while the rear tire has a smaller section size of 90/100-10. At the same time, the stopping power comes from 130mm drums on either end, with a front disc available as standard equipment on the higher-end Deluxe trim. The scooter is a three-wheeled vehicle.

In order to cater to this qualification, the Grazia scooter has an ergonomic design, and it is portrayed as an innovative urban scooter that obeys to your command as the day goes on. The upright seating position on the scooter provides easy access to the handlebar, which results in improved control of the scooter when making turns or manoeuvring through traffic. Because the scooter has a wheelbase of 1260 millimetres, which is the same as that of the Activa 125, it can be manoeuvred with relative ease. There is a Telescopic suspension added at the front, and a Spring-Loaded Hydraulic Type setup is fitted at the back to handle the comfort element of the ride. This ensures a smooth and easy ride for the rider. The most appealing feature is that the scooter may be driven carefree at speeds ranging from 70 to 80 kilometers per hour or while the engine is being revved up to its maximum of 90 kilometers per hour. Moving on to the braking system, we were able to get our hands on the top-of-the-line model, which features a 190 millimetre disc brake at the front and a 130 millimetre drum brake at the back. These brakes offer an outstanding braking feedback in high-stress circumstances. The deceleration performance is further aided by a CBS with equalization, which cuts down on the braking distance required to bring the scooter to a halt. The new model comes equipped with MRF Zappers tubeless tyres, while the conventional model is equipped with Ceat tyres that are mounted on steel rims. The all-new alloy wheels help to highlight the athletic nature of the scooter.

How comfortable the scooter is?

The Honda Grazia is a comfortable vehicle. It has a well-padded seat and wide handlebars that make it easy to ride for long periods of time. The suspension is firm but not too stiff, and absorbs bumps well. The only downside is that the Grazia does not have a very low seat height, so shorter riders may have to put their feet down when stopped. Overall, the Grazia is a great option for someone looking for a comfortable and stylish scooter.

If you're looking for an affordable and comfortable scooter, the Honda Grazia may be the best choice for you. Its frame is 1812 mm long and 697 mm wide, with a 1260 mm wheelbase. The Grazia features wide leather perforated seats that are comfortable for both the rider and pillion. It also comes with a footboard hook for attaching a helmet. Its glove box has a USB charger and is roomy enough for a full-size helmet. As for the ride, the Honda Grazia offers a comfortable ride, with a pliant and firm suspension. Its rear suspension is spring-loaded and has a viscous-type air filter. It's maintenance-free for the first sixteen thousand miles. There are also different grab rails on the front and back. Whether riding alone or with a companion, the Grazia is a great option for a fun trip.

Another notable feature of the Grazia is its instrument cluster, which is fully digital. It has a digital speedometer, fuel gauge, and an odometer. The instrument console also includes a seat open button. In the past, the rider had to pull out a lock to unlock his or her seat. With the Honda Grazia, that's no longer a problem. Overall, the Honda Grazia 125 feels more refined and peppier than its predecessor. Its lightweight body and new air filter help it shed a bit of weight, so it can cruise effortlessly at 70-75kmph. At the same time, the engine doesn't get stressed even at these speeds.

How’s the tech?

Along with Honda Eco Technology (HET) and Enhanced Smart Power (ESP), the highly sophisticated fuel injection system that comes standard on the Honda Grazia helps to ensure that the vehicle achieves the best possible balance of fuel economy and performance. In addition to the LED headlight, telescopic forks, front disc brake, four-in-one lock with seat opener switch, and mobile charging socket, there is also a digital Speedo console. The instrument cluster is completely digital, and it also features a digital tachometer as part of its features. The instrument cluster can perform its functions, and the digital console, in addition to providing those functions, also has a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Drum brakes are standard, but if you upgrade to the Deluxe model, you'll get a front disc brake instead. The standard version of this product has drum brakes. In the front and the back, the alloy wheels measure 12 and 10 inches in diameter, respectively. Telescopic forks and a monoshock are used to provide the necessary suspension support for the vehicle.

The Grazia, much like other scooters with 125 cc engines, is priced very competitively and comes equipped with a wide variety of standard and optional extras. Naturally, in order to maintain a foothold in the market and remain competitive, it comes outfitted with a number of innovative and upscale features. The following is a list of the amenities that are included with this scooter:

1.LED Headlamps

2.Fully digital speedometer with eco speed indicator

3.Front Disc brakes

4.Front Glove box with charging socket

5.4-in-1 lock with seat opening switch

6.Alloy wheels

7.CBS with equalizer

Which Scooters Compete in this Segment?

However, the Grazia does have some unique features that set it apart from its competitors. These include a sporty design, advanced safety features, and superior build quality.

Verdict (Is it Value for Money?)

The Honda Grazia is a great scooter for city commuting. It's comfortable to ride and has plenty of features to make your commute easier, like a large storage space under the seat and a built-in navigation system. The only downside is that it's not particularly fast or sporty, but if you're looking for a reliable and affordable option for getting around town, the Grazia is a great choice to make.

Pros

Verdict

As an offering for city commuters, the scooter ticks all the right boxes with respect to convenience including a smartphone slot, digital display and sporty looks. Booked it. Tested it before confirming. All plastic body. Led headlight is so so they look nice but not so effective. The digital meter is nice. Mobile charger in the front is so so. The phone can be stolen easily as the plastic cover is just a show can be opened easily. Too much plastic used in the whole body of the scooter. Does not give you a solid feel. Rest all is activa. After testing the Grazia bought the 125cc with Disc break. Any questions from anyone regarding Grazia.
