Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Innova Crysta facelift in the country and the popular MPV has received a mid-lifecycle refresh with cosmetic upgrades and new features. The 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift is priced from Rs. 17.68 lakh, going up to Rs. 26.77 lakh (all prices ex-showroom India, except Kerala). Compared to the pre-facelift version, the new model has seen a price hike of Rs. 60,000 on the base trims, and of Rs. 70,000 on the top trims. The Toyota Innova completes 15 years of sales in India and is an iconic model in the premium MPV segment. The company has sold over 8.80 lakh units of the offering over two generations, while nearly 3 lakh units have been sold of the current generation version itself. The Toyota Innova Crysta commands a segment share of 43 per cent.
With respect to exterior changes, the 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift gets a new trapezoidal front grille finished in piano black with chrome inserts. The unit merges into the headlamps that get projector lens with LED daytime running lights. The model also comes with the reworked front bumper design, new fog lamp housing and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that add a modern look. There's a new Sparkling Black Crystal Shine colour available as well.
The cabin has been upgraded on the Toyota Innova Crysta facelift with a new touchscreen infotainment system that gets Smart Playcast and adds features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
