Established in 2007, Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd is a part of Volkswagen India Group, headquartered in Pune. The Volkswagen India Group delineates five luxury brands including Audi, Skoda, Lamborghini and Porsche. Volkswagen India’s manufacturing plant is located in Chakan, Maharashtra which has an annual production capacity of 200,000 units. Spread across 575 acres, VW invested Rs 3800 crores in building the state-of-the-art manufacturing unit.
