Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single-Channel ABS Variant Discontinued In India
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 represents Bajaj’s attempt to redefine the 160cc premium commuter segment. Launched in 2022, the N160 is designed to offer a mix of performance, comfort, and advanced features while retaining the Pulsar brand’s aggressive styling. Positioned as an entry point into the premium sports commuter segment, it competes with some of the biggest names like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, and Hero Xtreme 160R. With prices starting at around ₹1.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the single-channel ABS variant and ₹1.28 lakh for the dual-channel ABS model, the N160 is packed with segment-first feature
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is styled aggressively, sharing much of its design DNA with the Pulsar N250. The front of the bike features a projector headlamp flanked by LED DRLs, providing it with a futuristic and bold look. The fuel tank extensions, combined with a split seat and belly pan, give the bike an overall muscular appearance. The semi-digital instrument console, though not as advanced as full-digital displays seen in other competitors, provides necessary information such as gear position and distance to empty.
The N160 offers excellent build quality and attention to detail, with four color options available: Brooklyn Black, Racing Red, Caribbean Blue, and Techno Grey. While it doesn’t stand out with innovative design elements, the familiar, yet aggressive styling will appeal to Pulsar loyalists.
