The 2021 KTM 125 Duke sports the new design language seen on the larger capacity Duke motorcycles, while the engine and other cycle parts have been carried over. The new all-new offering will also see a price hike as a result of the changes.
The KTM 125 Duke was introduced late last year in India, and the most affordable offering from the Austrian manufacturer has now received a price hike since the launch. The 125 Duke now retails at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is an increase of Rs. 5000 over the older pricing. Launched in November 2018, the KTM offering was launched at a price of Rs. 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom). It received its first price hike in March this year to the tune of Rs. 6835, while the second price hike arrived in April of Rs. 250, when the complete line-up saw an increase. This is the third price hike on the baby Duke.
KTM India's most affordable offering has just received a price hike for the new financial year. The KTM 125 Duke is now more expensive by Rs. 6800, and is now priced at Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Launched late last year, the bike was introduced at a price of Rs. 1.18 lakh, which incidentally was also the asking price for the KTM 200 Duke when it was launched way back in 2012. While the price hike may seem a little steep, sales for the 125 cc motorcycle are off to a good start for the manufacturer. In fact, the 125 Duke managed to outsell the complete KTM Duke range in the country including the 200, 250 and the 390 models between December 2018 and February 2019.
The 2018 KTM 125 Duke gets a 125 cc motor, which makes 14.3 bhp and 12 Nm of peak torque along with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Also, the KTM 125 is the most affordable offering from KTM in India right now. The Duke 125 is one of the most powerful 125 cc bikes in India right now.
We spend some time babysitting the newest member of the KTM Duke family, the KTM 125 Duke, at Bajaj Auto's test track at Chakan, near Pune. And we try and seek some answers to see if it has the same entertaining KTM DNA and if it's worth the over Rs. 1 lakh price tag.

125 Duke
Its an awesome bike
The price looks so high while comparing with the mt 15.
The mt 15 is little more powerful that the duke 125 but the duke had a lot of features than mt.
The duke comes with USD forks, trellis frame, aluminum swingarm, bigger tires, bigger brakes ,best exhaust note.
While riding duke 125 we can feel the aggression of the KTM engine.
