The Mahindra Thar has long been an iconic SUV in the Indian market, particularly favored for its off-road capabilities and rugged design. With the second-generation Thar, Mahindra has enhanced the vehicle to appeal to both urban and off-road enthusiasts. The new Thar is more refined, offers better safety features, and integrates advanced technology while staying true to its core identity of being a tough, go-anywhere SUV. The introduction of both mStallion petrol automatic and mHawk diesel manual versions gives buyers options tailored to different driving preferences.
The Mahindra Thar retains its recognizable boxy silhouette, reminiscent of its predecessor, but it also brings significant improvements in design. The rugged exterior is complemented by several modern touches, such as LED daytime running lights (DRLs) on the fenders, giving it a more urban lifestyle look.
However, it stays true to its off-road DNA with exposed door hinges, large chunky bumpers, and rugged 18-inch wheels on the LX variants, while the AX models come with 16-inch wheels.
The front grille, however, has caused some controversy among enthusiasts. Mahindra moved away from the seven-slot grille seen on earlier models due to legal reasons, opting for a new checkered pattern. While not universally loved, the grille does give the Thar a more distinct identity.
Other design elements, such as the raised hood, split tailgate, and plastic fenders, enhance its off-road credentials while keeping the vehicle in line with modern SUV aesthetics

It’s a compelling choice for off-road enthusiasts and urban dwellers alike, especially with its competitive pricing.

The brand-new Mahindra Thar has also left behind Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Bolero in the market with its supersonic features and revolutionary design.
Moreover, the newly launched Mahindra Thar comes in 6 petrol variants and 7 diesel variants which thus give you a wide range of options to choose from. Another noteworthy feature of the new Mahindra Thar is that it is a perfectly designed compact sport utility vehicle.
