Tata Motors has discreetly reduced the prices of the Altroz diesel variants in India by Rs. 40,000. The diesel variants are now priced from Rs. 6.99 lakh to Rs. 9.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
With the Tata Altroz all set to go on sale in India in January 2020, the company has now started rolling out teaser videos of the car to create buzz for its upcoming premium hatchback. Set to rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and the Honda Jazz, the new Tata Altroz was first showcased, early this year, at the Geneva Motor Show 2019.
Tata Motors will be announcing the price of the Altroz turbo petrol variant in the country on January 13, 2021. The company will also introduce a new Harbour Blue colour on the iTurbo variant.
Tata Motors will be entering the premium hatchback segment later this year with the Altroz. The all-new offering is a highly anticipated one given its promising debut as the Tata 45X concept at the 2018 Auto Expo and the company has now launched the website for the same. The automaker says the Tata Altroz website went live ahead of the planned scheduled in a bid to provide glimpses of the model in its run-up to the commercial launch. The website garnered over 100,000 visitors within 24 hours of it going live, according to the company. Tata has also released a video of a camouflaged Altroz being tested.
