Post the announcement of the recently conducted Global NCAP crash test, Renault India comes out with a statement to defend the Renault Lodgy, which received a very poor zero-star rating.
The Renault Lodgy MPV has scored a very poor zero star rating in a recently conducted crash test by the Global NCAP. The crash test is a part of Global NCAP's 'Safer Cars For India Campaign,' in which the Lodgy scored zero stars for adult occupant protection, and an average two-star rating for child safety in the rear seat.
Renault Lodgy's Stepway Edition recently went on sale in India with prices starting at Rs. 9.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The enhanced version of the MPV now comes with 16 enhancements to the exterior and interior.
Renault will offer the new edition of the car in both 85 PS and 110 PS variants, priced at Rs. 9.74 lakh and Rs. 10.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
Renault India has introduced a price cut on the Lodgy MPV ranging between Rs. 97,000-34,000 depending on the variant, as part of its five-year celebrations in the country.
