Kawasaki has unveiled its new supercharged offering, the Ninja H2 SX at the EICMA Motorcycle Show 2017, which makes the manic H2 into a more touring friendly motorcycle.
KTM has unveiled the 790 Duke at EICMA Motorcycle Show. The bike is all-new and so is the engine and the chassis. KTM also confirmed that it is working on a adventure motorcycle based on the 790 Duke and that it should be coming soon.
BMW has revealed the F 750 GS and the F 850 GS at the onging EICMA show. Both models are all-new and replace the F 700 GS and the F 800 GS respectively. The engine, frame and the suspension are completely new and so are the features and equipment.
Royal Enfield has finally unveiled the much awaited 650 cc motorcycles at the ongoing EICMA Motorcycle Show. The Interceptor 650 Twin and the Continental GT 650 Twin will have the all-new 650 cc parallel-twin engine and will be first launched in Europe, sometime in April 2018. Expect them to come to India by mid 2018.
Benelli has unveiled the all-new Imperiale 400 cruiser motorcycle at the EICMA Motorcycle Show, amongst a host of other offerings. The all-new model has been in the works for a while now, but was kept under wraps by the Chinese-owned Italian bike maker. The new Imperiale is a direct rival to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India, and will make it to India around the period of April-May next year.
Honda took the wraps off the Africa Twin Adventure at the 2017 EICMA Show. The Africa Twin Adventure is suited for long distance riding as it gets a bigger fuel tank, revised airbox and suspension along with some updates to the features as well.
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2018 Tiger 800 range at the ongoing EICMA show in Milan. The Tiger 800 range gets over 200 changes and these include updates to the engine and chassis along with a longer list of features and equipment as well.
In a global unveil at the ongoing EICMA Motorcycle Show, Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Hero XPulse adventure bike concept. Hero says its new concept takes the Impulse legacy forward and also represents the homegrown manufacturer's plans to grow into higher engine capacity segments. The new Hero XPulse concept previews an adventure offering that will be available in dual versions.
Honda showcased the striking new CB1000R at the 2017 EICMA show. The bike is a litre class naked and gets a retro cafe-racer styling. The bike gets a 998 cc in-line four cylinder which makes 143.5 bhp. We do hope that Honda gets the bike production ready soon.
