Maserati debuted Special Edition versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Sport at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 3500 GT - the very first GT car that segmented the market in 1957. With a 6.5 Litre V12 engine that is naturally aspirated and churning out 789 bhp at 8,500rpm and 718 Nm at 7,000rpm. Ferrari says that 80 per cent of the torque kicks in at just 3,500rpm. If those numbers do not boggle your mind, then the 812 Superfast does the 0-100 kmph sprint in 2.9 seconds and can reach a maximum of 340 kmph.
Audi today unveiled six new models at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2017. One of the key products showcased by the carmaker was the all-new Audi Q8 sport concept, a preview to the company's all-new Coupe SUV. In addition to the Audi also introduced the new RS 5 Coupe - the Gran Turismo of RS models and the new Audi SQ5.
Tata Motors today said it is in talks with the world's largest auto maker Volkswagen for a possible partnership. The company is exploring various opportunities, including partnership in its new advanced modular platform (AMP) development, possibilities of a joint venture or a contract manufacturing with the German auto major, in its bid to scale up.
Audi AG has revealed the new Q8 Sport Concept at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show that previews the brand's upcoming flagship SUV. The Audi Q8 was first revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January last year and will be positoned above the Q7 in the automaker's line-up. With the Sport Concept however, Audi is presenting the Q8 in a much menacing and performance friendly avatar, which could possibly be the first glimpse of the more powerful SQ8 or the RS Q8 iterations of the SUV.
Mercedes-AMG unveiled a uniquely styled four-seater called the GT Concept at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The GT Concept has come to light to complement the two-seater GT sports car, according to the company and it will also help in expanding the AMG models alongside traditional performance variants.
