Mercedes-Benz has finally unveiled the new-generation AMG GLE 63 S at the ongoing Los Angeles Auto Show 2019. This is the new performance version of the fourth-generation of the GLE SUV which was showcased last year at the Paris Motor Show. While based on the new-gen GLE SUV, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S also comes with AMG-themed styling that distinguishes it from the regular SUV.
Capable of running up to 600 horsepower the engine will be detuned to roughly 480 horsepower for an optimised balance of performance and reliability. Currently in concept form, the vehicle is being tested for further development and finalization before the 2020 race
It's high performance because under the hood the RS Q8 comes with a 4-litre V8 which punches out 600 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The turbocharged gasoline engine with direct injection accelerates the large SUV coupe from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds
The Vision T side profile conveys a continual sense of speed and forward motion. The long hood and level roofline coupled with a long wheelbase and short overhangs reflect a ready-for-anything dynamic character.
The 2-Series Gran Coupe completes the Gran Coupe line-up in the BMW family down the product line-up, joining higher models like the 4-Seires, 6-Series and 8-Series Gran Coupe.
The Seltos for the US gets a 2-litre litre MPI petrol motor which is good enough for 146 bhp and it comes mated to an Intellingent Variable Transmission. There's a more powerful version on offer too and it gets a 1.6-litre turbo petrol unit which churns out 174 bhp
