Tata Motors unveiled the first petrol engine from the Revotron series - the turbocharged intercooled Multi-point Fuel Injected (MPFi) Petrol Engine, Revotron 1.2T.

Ashok Leyland launches its first passenger car in India the Stile. With a 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine which churns out 85bhp. Though the looks have been borrowed from the Nissan Evalia to a great extent, Stile has got a longer grille, restyled bumpers and prominent double-barrel headlamps. The top-end variant gets fabric seats and chrome finish on the inside. Priced at Rs 9.5 lakh, the Stile is an ideal car for big families.
Audi, in a bid to slash prices and raise competition, launches the Audi Q3 S priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Audi Q3 S gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 4 cylinder engine that churns out 140bhp(174 in the Quattro). Audi, with its ambitious Q3 S, is all set to take on the likes of the Merc A-Class and the BMW 1 Series.
The new Skoda Octavia boasts of a more powerful engine - a 177 bhp 1.8-litre TSI turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine. The interior has been revamped with features like a massive sunroof, a powered driver's seat with seat memory, a six-CD changer, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, remote locking and such others.
