The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has been around for sometime, and has certainly shown signs of ageing. That, however, has not necessarily affected its sale-ability, as it continues compete neck-to-neck against the some of the newer offerings in the segment. However, the Ciaz has gotten longer in the tooth and the automaker is readying the facelifted version that will be going on sale later this year. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift was spotted testing recently, and builds our hopes on what to expect from the popular selling compact sedan.
Currently sold through the regular Maruti Suzuki dealership network, the company will soon start using the Nexa-like badging on the Ciaz. Ahead of the official dealer network changeover, the variant line-up of the Nexa-based Ciaz has been leaked.
Since its launch in 2014, Maruti Suzuki India has sold over 1.7 lakh units of the Ciaz sedan in India. Despite heavy competition from the likes of the updated 2017 Honda City, the carmaker has been consistently selling an average of almost 5,500 units a month.
